Windows fill the canvas in list order, placed by the same rules as the Curtains grid layout.
One window is shown large with the others in a strip. Click a window, or use its Show large button in the list, to swap.
Drag a window to move it, or drag its corner to resize it; it comes to the front. Edges snap to a 12-column grid; hold Alt or Option to place freely. With the keyboard, Tab to the canvas and press Enter to select a window. Arrow keys move it, Shift with the arrow keys resizes it, and Delete removes it.

How the layout is made
Your screenshots are decoded by your browser and drawn onto a canvas on this page. Each one is scaled to fit its cell and keeps its proportions, so nothing is stretched or cropped. The PNG is rendered at the output size you pick.
Grid and Focus use the same rules as the Curtains layouts: the grid tries each arrangement for the number of windows and keeps the one that shows the most of your screenshots, and Focus gives one window most of the canvas with the rest in a strip. The backgrounds are Curtains canvas themes.

Lay out live windows, not screenshots
In a call, Curtains arranges the apps you share in a grid, a focus layout or freeform on a canvas theme you pick, and you share that canvas once in any meeting app. Every window stays live.
