How it works

What happens on this page

Your screenshot is opened in this tab and drawn on a canvas. Each pen stroke, highlight, arrow and circle is kept as a separate mark, so undo removes them one at a time. A pen or stylus draws thicker when you press harder.

When you download or copy, the marks are drawn onto the image at its original size, so a large screenshot stays sharp. The file is made on your device and never leaves it.

  • Runs in your browser

The tool is code on this page. It does its work on your device, not on a server.

  • Nothing is uploaded

What you open here is processed in this tab and never sent anywhere.

  • Nothing is kept

There's no account and no history. Close or reload the page and your work is gone.

In Curtains: Presenter ink

Draw on your screen while you present

Curtains has a pen, highlighter, arrow and laser pointer for live calls. Viewers see your ink on the shared canvas, and it can fade on its own a few seconds after you lift the pen.
